About Doris
STORIES • IDEAS • EXPERIENCES
Connection is the point.
My evolution
FROM CORPORATE TO CREATIVE.
FROM SOLVING PROBLEMS TO CREATING EXPERIENCES.

2008 and before
A corporate career in technology, banking, project delivery and quality management. Complex teams. Big initiatives. A love for solving problems and making things work.

2009 I started my own business.
Consulting. Coaching. Strategy. Training.
Helping people turn ideas into something real.

The years that followed
Branding. Websites. Graphic design. Business strategy. Creative development.
Different titles. Same thread.

Today
All of it led to the work I do today—writing, storytelling, creative projects, broadcasts, series and Parler pour parler: different expressions of the same curiosity about people, ideas, connection and meaningful experience.

And yes, the name changed too.
I spent much of my professional career as Doris Smith. Today, I work and publish under a family name, Doris Proudlove.
Same person. Much better name.
And through every version of the work, one thing has stayed constant: I’ve always been interested in what happens when people really engage with one another.
FOR TEAMS
Give your team an experience worth talking about.
Parler pour parler creates boutique, facilitated experiences for small remote teams who want something more thoughtful than another virtual icebreaker.
FOR YOU
Stories. Ideas. Broadcasts. Series.
The creative side.
My Substack is where I share ongoing series, broadcasts, reflections and behind-the-scenes work.
All the creative endeavours, in one place.
